In order to succeed in life, you have to get along with people. Employees need companies, and companies need workers. Sports teams need fans, fans need their teams. And friends need friends. People simply need each other.

In my Pretty Vacant stories, Gigi comes off as super-skilled. Yet if it wasn’t for her friend Diane snooping around and getting caught, Gigi would never have had the time to overcome the hypnotic sedative injected into her bloodstream and avoid the cryogenically frozen fate Still Life had planned for her.

The biggest problem I had with PV: Vegas Showcase is finding a way to get Gigi plasticized once again. Thankfully Gigi’s evolving characterization provided a means to plot it.

Gigi is highly capable, but her abilities have made her overconfident. As Gigi prepares to infiltrate Still Life’s new mannequin warehouse in Vegas and rescue her pal Mindy, Still Life makes new plans to reacquire and replastinate Gigi.

Enter Barnaby Wong. I created his character as a counter balance for Gigi. While Gigi charges forward, Barnaby takes a step back and assesses the situation. It will come in very handy for what Still Life has in store for Gigi! Besides, isn’t it about time that there was a guy on Gigi’s side?
